Applicants must meet USOE and NCLB requirements, having earned as a minimum a Bachelor’s degree in secondary education from an accredited college or university with appropriate endorsements in the content area.  Applicants accepted in the ARL program will also be considered.

AMES is a Title One school and also affiliates with the state and national MESA initiative.  AMES is an independent public charter high school aligned with the Utah State Charter Board.

AMES Contract Staff participate in the Utah Retirement System and receive health benefits.  Salaries are comparable to the Granite School District pay scale though AMES reserves the right to offer additional compensation based on school program need and/or experience.  Classified employees receive comparable benefits and compensation with other Salt Lake County public school districts.
