One of the unique aspects of AMES is our Freshman Orientation or as we call it, Freshman House. All freshman are invited to attend a 3-day orientation, typically scheduled in the summer, 2 weeks before the first day of school. At Freshman House, we introduce new students to our school, our teachers and faculty, and to our school culture. Students that attend Freshman House are more confident on the first day of school, making the transition to high school that much easier.
